Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the SayBriefly desktop app, Chrome extension or web workspace (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you use SayBriefly for a company, you agree on its behalf.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the Service. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including people you invite.

3. Plans, usage and billing

New accounts get a one-time free allowance of the full Service. After that, paid plans (Solo and Studio) are billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the seller of record. Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance; you can add more. You can cancel any time from Settings or by emailing us; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.

4. Your content

You own the meetings, emails, notes and files you bring into SayBriefly. You give us permission to process them only to run the Service for you, including sending them to the AI and speech providers listed in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to record and process the meetings and email you connect, including telling other people on a call when that is required where you are.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, record people without the consent the law requires, send spam, attack or overload our systems, or reverse engineer the app. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. AI output

SayBriefly uses AI to write summaries, tasks, scope alerts and replies. AI can be wrong. Check anything important, like dates, amounts and commitments, before you rely on it or send it to a client.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running and improving, but it is provided "as is" and may change, pause or have errors. We may add or remove features.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, SayBriefly is not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

9. Ending

You can delete your account any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken. When an account is deleted, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. Using the Service after that means you accept them.
